What’s your declaration of love for 2019?
Sasha: To be entirely present in the moments we are together. I listened to a speaker last year and this notion really stuck with me. She said, when you are with your partner, really be with them. Make eye contact, don’t talk to them while looking at your phone or at your emails. Stop and actually engage in what they are saying and doing. So that is my declaration of love this year: being present.
Oli: This year I plan to take on more of the annoying life admin so that Sash can experience more time with the kids and enjoy some free time. She always works so hard through the summer, so my declaration of love is to do more so she can do less.

What’s your Gifting style?
Sasha: Gifting is by far one of my all-time favourite things to do. I generally think about the most unique and unforgettable gifts I have done before and then I try to top it. It’s generally a combination of a memorable experience and an actual material thing that always has a personalised touch to it. So, for example, last birthday I let him sleep in while making breakfast in bed with a voucher on the plate for a three-hour surf window, a gold pendant with the kids initials on it and his favourite Camilla silk shirt he pointed out in the window the week prior.
Oli: I always choke when it comes to the important holidays, birthdays or anniversaries. I just never seem to get it right! So, over the years I have learnt to listen to the hints (don’t go rogue), and always write a heartfelt note. Gets ‘em every time.

What’s your Gifting style?

Oli: Red for obvious reasons – and especially when she wears it. Then its game over, love that colour on Sash.

When did you last sing to each other?
Sasha: Only yesterday! Oli is currently writing his own music and I was helping him with the lyrics, so we both were singing and going over what we had come up with. It wasn’t romantic, but still. But weirdly enough we sing a lot to each other and the kids. Every day we come up with a silly song with the kids names in them and sing it out loud during bath time.
Oli: Does singing or screaming to the same song in the car count?

Ben: To give more love to Mother Nature. Marianne and I made a conscious effort in 2018 to cut as much plastic out of our life as possible and we will continue to do so in 2019. We both share and spread awareness through our social media platforms about eco-friendly issues and ways to help nature. I will hug more trees this year as well, I am 100% sure that trees love hugs as much as humans do.
