    The Metropolitan Museum of Art and CAMILLA unite, bringing together 5,000 years of history and two decades of bohemian print artistry. A collaboration that realises the true definition of wearable art.

    Silk linen fuses the softness and drape of silk, with the crisp structure and natural texture of European linen. The flax fibres are grown in European soil with little water and few pesticides, crafting a fully biodegradable fibre that only softens with time and wear. Grown, spun and milled close to home, it travels a shorter path from field to finished cloth; creating a smaller footprint, and a more considered way to dress. The result is a blend that's more fluid, smooth to the touch, and naturally crease-resistant.

    Life's Rich Tapestry is an exclusive wearable artwork from The Met x CAMILLA collection, inspired by an ornate 17th-century French armorial tapestry in The Met collection. Our in-house artisans digitally expanded upon the original tapestry bearing the arms of the Swiss Greder family, adding florals from the central panels to create an elongated version of the original composition.
